Philosophy
Frami Atelier is a small, independent lighting project. Designed and crafted between the UK and Italy, each lamp is the result of meticulous artisanal work — folded entirely by hand using precision techniques inspired by Japanese Origami.
Every lamp is the result of a quiet ritual - the meeting of hands, paper, and time. From the resilience of metal to the softness of Japanese paper, each product is unique, bringing warmth and individuality to your space.
Frami Atelier produces high quality lamps with the intrinsic trait of metamorphosis - from greek meta-, "after" and morphe, "form".
It is about creating lighting that feels meaningful to live with — thoughtful, sustainable, and made with care.
In 2024, Frami was selected to join Homo Faber, an international platform celebrating exceptional craftsmanship.
